49890 Wate Base Spray Stain 

 

This water-based stain base is used in conjunction with Microlith tint colors to create stain colors that are exceptional for accenting the grain of the wood without the need to wipe.  Spraying wet by increasing the fluid delivery and decreasing the air pressure increases the grain accent.  Spraying drier by decreasing the fluid delivery and increasing the air pressure decreases the grain accent.  Because the main ingredient is water, these stains take longer to dry than solvent base.  They have a lacquer-like dry, so once the water evaporates, they are ready to finish.  This is usually accomplished in about an hour under normal drying conditions.  These stains are recommended under all types of finishes for interior use.
