FROM THE JUDGES: After tracking votes for this picture for nearly a week and a half, we've finally come to the conclusion that there was a fair amount of "cheating" involved. We contacted the family who submitted the photo and are absolutely convinced they personally had nothing to do with the cheating or with asking folks to cheat on their behalf. It simply happened that a few of their well-meaning friends throughout the area and the country decided to alter their IP addresses and cast multiple votes from the same computers. This didn't happen for all the votes, but it happened for enough of them that the family involved and I decided it was in the best interests of the contest to remove this pic from the Public Vote. HOWEVER, since they personally were unaware of the cheating taking place on their behalf, they will remain eligible to win a prize for the "Best Photoshopped Image" at the end of the contest. We've thought long and hard about this decision and we feel this route is the most fair to everybody involved.

It would be nice if this one was no longer allowed to accumulate votes since it's not in the running for the popular vote anymore. That way someone else, who is, would have a chance to get some exposure in the Top 10.
